Summer Series update

The Sunday Summer Series continued last Sunday, with much gentler weather conditions than the fleet has experienced throughout the earlier part of the series. In a similar situation as the Wednesday night Leeward Twilight series, Mark Nield tops the podium in his Laser with 5 wins and 14.78 points. Not far behind with one first and six second places is Matt Bennett in his Solo with 15.9 points. So there will be some close racing in the final weeks of the event. Slightly out of touch in third place is the Streaker of Phil Watson - still on the podium but with 24.5 points Phil it looks like the top spot is a reach too far for our multi event winning helm.

There has been a superb turn out for the series and some fantastic racing conditions over the series.

A special mention to all the club members who have turned out to fill the race officer roles and the safety boat roles. Without their support racing would not be possible.
