Juniors on the water
Juniors and parents/responsible adult hit the water together last Saturday afternoon. Alongside the Junior Fun Days and the Junior RYA training courses, Shotwick Lake Sailing is also running Saturday afternoon sessions (every other Saturday) which are parent-led, allowing both parent/responsible adult and youngsters to get onto the lake with safety boat cover, and informal support from more experienced members. Spring continues
Sunday 3rd May was another great day in Spring. Two more Spring Series races in the morning and Spring Afternoon Series after lunch. It was another double for Phil Watson, but Dave Thomas made him work hard for the wins, finishing only seconds behind on corrected time. RYA Youth courses
MAY SCHOOL HOLIDAYS… Junior/youth training at Shotwick Lake is making a major step forward during the May school holidays. Club youth members will be able to participate in the first RYA youth courses of 2026, led by Shotwick Lake Senior Instructor Jude.
