Sunday racing
Sunday 17th May - another lively 3 race programme. Sailing Secretary Simon Dolman was there: Well done today, everyone — there was some great competitive sailing across all three races! Race duties!
Shotwick Lake Sailing has an amazing programme of racing, but of course each race day requires a team of volunteers to enable racing to take place. The four key roles are: - Race Officer of the Day (OOD). This requires someone with experience who can organise the racing for the day. - Assistant Race officer. Saturday Juniors on the lake
The Saturday afternoon Junior accompanied sessions continued last weekend, with a great outing in variable conditions. Numbers were down due to several youngsters being on holiday, but the weather meant that both youngsters and parents present were able to get out on the water. Windward Twilight Series
Wednesday 13th May. Race 7 of the Wednesday night Windward Twilight Series brought some speedy sailing for the five brave souls that braved the seriously gusty conditions. Three Lasers, of every variant, with Conrad Brown going for the full-size rig, and a Solo! VI Sailing - Sunday 24th May
Volunteers required! The first of the 2026 series of VI Sailing afternoons will be on Sunday 24th May.
