Sunday racing - October 4th…
In a contrast to recent wild weather, Sunday 4th October saw 15 boat taking to the water in light winds. However once the course was set we managed to get in two races. Even more amazingly three people managed to capsize, and they really should have known better. First was Mark Nield as he crossed the start line - and then went on to do another lap. Jeanette popped in shortly after finishing, and the weedmaster, aka commodore Jeremy, decided to check the lake for weed just before the start of race two. At least he did it to entertain his people - and then of course went on to win both races!
The afternoon saw just seven boats venture out in very light aires. No drama in this race, just another Lightning win, but this time with Jude at the helm.
