Summer Series and Pursuit

Races 11 and 12 continued the Summer Series on a balmy Summer Sunday (10th Aug). Kieran Lewis looked to continue his winning streak, topping the podium in race 11, but he was pipped at the post by the Miracle of Mark Nield and Sara Bell in race 12. So lots of pressure on current series leader Jeremy Cooper, who still has a solid lead in the series overall. The two Summer Series races were followed by race 6 of the Summer Afternoon Pursuit Series (results below the Summer Series).

Summer Series overall after 12 races

Summer Pursuit Series race 6

Ryan Cornmell made his mark by finishing 6th in his first pursuit race, in spite of having to overcome a technical issue with a bailer (due to his shoreside support team!). Its proving a fun afternoon race, ideal for the less experienced members…
