Lighting Open

It was a typical lively race day at Shotwick Lake for the annual Lightning Open. A full report can be found at

Commodore Jeremy was clearly in a combative mod, using a combination of fast sailing and unintentional mast-jousting techniques to try to pass the eventual overall winner Simon Hopkins. Jeremy ended up in second place with Jason Gallagher in third. A good turnout from the Shotwick Fleet, bolstered by some Shotwick Helms giving the Lightning a go for the first time in borrowed boats.
