Twilight Wednesday - race 8

28th May 25.

The wild winds of Sunday were absent tonight, as very light winds meant the Twilight race was another challenging one. Jeremy (Lightning) made a great starboard tack start at the port end of the line. Simon and Julie (Miracle) and Matt (Solo) managed to find a gap and sneak through on port tack. The very light winds continued and the following boats wind shadows led to some tricky sailing and some tactical errors.

Dave (Solo) sailed well, spotting a great lift which saw him pass the other Solo sailed by Matt and slot into second place to join the Lightnings and Jeremy and Mark on the podium. Jeremy built up an impressive lead, but only 24 seconds separated second and fifth!
