Leeward Twilight series - race 4

Wednesday evening (July 16th) saw the 4th race in the current Leeward Twilight Series. Our Lightning Duo Jeremy and Mark were putting on some practice before their West Kirby outing and took 1st and 3rd positions, with Shan Stapley spoiling a one-two by sailing her single-handed Mirror into second place. This was also the first evening of the radio coaching trial which will be reported on in a future story. Julie Dolman summed up the evening: It was a lovely evening with perfect weather, sailors, boarders, live coaching from Gwyn, families and not forgetting our boat dancers!

The boat dancers refer to Shotwick sailors participating in the latest Aura craze! But we await video evidence, which we will share as soon as it is available. Remember dancers, it does not happen unless there is video evidence…
