January Working Party

Yep, Les is already planning the first Working Party of 2026, which will be the morning of Saturday 24th January, from 9-12ish. No word yet if snow clearance will be needed but the following is planned:

- Lake weed raking and putting the racing marks back in place

- Cut access road trees back, including larger shrubs (left past brick building)

- Kerbs to be installed for tie-downs

- Pothole fixing on the approach road. Les will bring tarmac and a blow torch and a trailer for the shrubs.

- And Les assures us that there will be other jobs should time allow :)

Everyone is encouraged to pop along and help out. No specialist equipment needed, but sensible clothing, gloves etc of course. It was great to see so many supporting the Club through both the work party days as well as on many other occasions during the year. It really helps keep the Club facilities in top condition and of course also keeps the subs down! Any questions to Les.

If you have any special talents you are hiding well that may be of use to the Club then mention them to a committee member. Do not assume we know and are ignoring you… there are several potential projects being considered that might benefit from hands-on input, project management skills etc etc.
