Final Twilight

Its all change as the last of the Twilight Series races was held on Wednesday (18th June). Sailing secretary Simon Dolman was there:

Final Windward Twilight Series Race Report:

The last race of the Windward Twilight Series brought 10 eager sailors to the water, all keen to secure their final points. Conditions were ideal, with a steady northwesterly breeze and glorious sunshine setting the stage for a competitive evening.
Conrad (Laser) and Dave (Solo) nailed the start, with Dave reaching the windward mark first, closely followed by Conrad and Mark in their Lasers. Reflecting on the race, Conrad commented, Dave had a great start, but the gusts were just enough for my Laser to get away.

Some of the most exciting action unfolded at the back of the fleet, with Shan in her Mirror, Sara in a Laser 4.7, and Brian in his Laser, locked in a thrilling battle. Multiple position changes throughout the race made it fantastic racing to watch.

And with that, the Windward Twilight Series comes to a close. Well done to all sailors for a great season on the water!
