Shotwick Legend Dave Turtle popped back to the lake on Wednesday night to take part in race 7 of the Twilight Series. The Comet helm was the one to beat following his Border Counties Series victory on Sunday, and both Conrad and Jeremy rose to the challenge, with Dave settling for the third spot on the podium (not included in the Series results). Jim Young (Laser 4.7) dropped into third spot within the series race. Sailing Secretary Simon Dolman commented. What looked like a gusty and challenging evening turned into a nice wind and some great sailing conditions. Many thanks to all the race team for their support.
