Paddle-boarding

Paddle-boarding (also known as Stand-Up-Paddleboarding or SUP) is one of the fastest-growing water-sports in the UK.  It is easily accessible –  you just need to be able to stand on a board, balance, and paddle!  It is an excellent ‘core’ and balance exercise and a great way to get and stay fit.  Its also a good introduction to water-based sports – being relatively affordable and easy to learn.

Feel like you are walking on water, gliding along silently, getting close to the many birds that live on and around our lake, and enjoy the views out towards the Clwydian Hills, Burton village, and over the surrounding fields.

Join us as a Paddle-Boarding Member and get fit on the water this season!


Stand Up Paddle board in Company at our Club Night every Friday evening through the summer season with support.
This is a great opportunity for members of any ability to come and improve their skills. There will be qualified instructors or experienced SUPers available to give tips and advice and a safety boat on the water for your reassurance. We look forward to seeing you on Friday evenings from the beginning of May.
