Croeso and welcome to Shotwick Lake Sailing

Shotwick Lake is situated on the Welsh, English border on the edge of the Dee estuary. We have members from North Wales, The Wirral, Chester and North West England. 

A family club we pride ourselves on our community and are an affiliated RYA Training Centre running sailing and windsurfing courses for both juniors and adults alike.

Social sailing

Not every day is a racing day at Shotwick Lake. After a great evening on Friday, when boards, kayaks, kite/board, dinghies were out on the lake, today was the day for the windsurfers. Twilight race 6

Yet another very pleasant evening at Shotwick Lake. Shotwick racers should be used to these variable and challenging conditions by now. Race 6 saw familiar names at the top of the results, with an Aero sandwich around a second place Lightning! Border Counties comes to Shotwick

Next Tuesday, 20th May, sees the monthly Border Counties Series return to Shotwick Lake. Three races, with two to count. First race start is at 11am. Sunday racing update

Sunday 11th May - Spring Series races 5 and 6, Spring Handicap race 3. A glorious day for the spectators, with bright sunshine and a gentle breeze.
