Powerboat Refresher Training

Powerboat Refresher sessions are held on a two-yearly basis at the club and are a mandatory requirement for people to helm Powerboats at the club. Many of you are attending a session over the next few weeks and I thank you for your efforts in supporting the club. If you wish to helm a Powerboat at the club and already hold a PB2 certificate and have not been invited to a refresher session please contact training @shotwicksailing.org

Remember that helming the Powerboat is voluntary and in doing so your actions may save the life of one of your fellow sailors. Helms (and crew) need to be physically fit to potentially right an inverted dinghy or recover a person from the water.
