Shotwick Lake is situated on the edge of the Dee estuary which can be reached conveniently from North Wales and the North West England. Formerly known as ‘Corus Colors Sailing Club’, the lake has recently been purchased by the club and is now known as Shotwick Lake Sailing Club.
We pride ourselves on being a friendly, supportive and helpful club and have a strong and growing membership. We are a recognise RYA approved training centre offering a wide range of training opportunities for adult and children in sailing, winsurfing and powerboating.
The club offers racing opportunities on Sundays and Wednesday evenings, which are well attended by young and old alike. Many of our members compete at local, regional and national levels, and recently one of our youth members was selected to represent Great Britain at the ISAF in Cyprus July 2013.
The lake provides a very safe environment to sail in and members can often be found at the lake with their families during the warmer months enjoying barbeques (weather permitting!)
