Introducing Lyn, Our New Windsurfing Secretary

Calling all Windsurfers – to air you views or let the wind out of your sails.

Let me introduce myself, I’m Lyn Collins. I did a “start windsurfing” course at the lake back in around 2015 and caught the “bug”.  I have just taken on the role as windsurf secretary and I’m keen to hear windsurfer views about how this activity can be developed at Shotwick lake.

My initial thoughts include –

• setting up a windsurfer social network so members can share when they are free to buddy up at the lake and share tips.
• exploring interest in kit storage at the club, (for those of us who have older boards and no boat to store it under. It may be just me!). 

Importantly, though ideas need to be driven by our club aims and windsurfers themselves.
