Another Wednesday evening, another blustery session at Shotwick Lake. Conrad Brown, going it alone in his laser, mastered the conditions and took an impressive win. Here be Dragons
Well on Sunday the 26th April the Welsh Dragons are at Gresford Sailing Club. The Welsh Dragon Series sees Junior sailors from 8-18 competing over a full day of racing in handicap classes broken down by experience. The event is one of five to be held in North Wales. Miracle Champs at Delph
Simon and Julie Dolman took to the hills last weekend as they travelled to compete in the 2026 Miracle Northern Area Championships at Delph SC. It was a lively weekend that saw the dynamic Shotwick duo swimming at least once! After day one they were up in third place, with the final results placing them fourth overall. Spring Series
Next Sunday (19th) sees the start of the Spring Series. This series brings an additional race in the afternoon, the Spring Handicap Series, meaning all racers have an extra chance to beat Kieran and of course Matt our recent Jack Frodsham Memorial Trophy winner. Early Spring Finale
Sunday (12th April) was one of those Spring multi-season weather day! It was a challenge that some decided was one too many, heading back in after the start of race 11. Fun, fun, fun
This week Shotwick Lake Sailing instructor Jude ran two junior fun days for the over 8s.
