Commodore Jeremy was planning to issue a reminder to all club members that Winter is coming and members need to check that their boats are well secured for the likely stormy weather ahead. Winter Open Series
Does your Club stop racing as we head into Winter. Shotwick Lake Sailing doesn’t stop, and our Frostbite Sries is an Open series so visitors are welcome. Winter is coming - but that means you all get chance to experience Shotwick Lake’s superb Open Frostbite Series. Racing Sunday 11th October
Well If the fleet thought the wind was light on the 4th, then the mirror-like lake that greeted them on Sunday 11th took it to another level. Great day to be OOD, whispered one helm! Racing Sunday 4th Oct
Sunday racing - October 4th… In a contrast to recent wild weather, Sunday 4th October saw 15 boat taking to the water in light winds. However once the course was set we managed to get in two races.
