Croeso and welcome to Shotwick Lake Sailing

Shotwick Lake is situated on the Welsh, English border on the edge of the Dee estuary. We have members from North Wales, The Wirral, Chester and North West England. 

A family club we pride ourselves on our community and are an affiliated RYA Training Centre running sailing and windsurfing courses for both juniors and adults alike.

Llyn Tegid

It was the turn of Llyn Tegid to host the latest round of the Border Counties Midweek series (held monthly). Travelling to compete

Shotwick sailors don't just confine their racing to our lake. As you can see from recent stories Shotwick members travel far and wide to get on the water and fly the flag for Shotwick. Ullswater Challenge

Jim Young is just back from the Lake District where he competed in the 63rd Lord Birkett race, 'the Glastonbury of sailing', run by Ullwater Yacht Club. It was great!

That was the conclusion sailing secretary Simon Dolman reached after Wednesday's (9th July) Leeward Twilight race, race 3 of the series. Race Night!

It is not just on the water that the club goes racing. 48 racers enjoyed a superb evening of food and racing of the horsey kind!
