Croeso and welcome to Shotwick Lake Sailing

Shotwick Lake is situated on the Welsh, English border on the edge of the Dee estuary. We have members from North Wales, The Wirral, Chester and North West England. 

A family club we pride ourselves on our community and are an affiliated RYA Training Centre running sailing and windsurfing courses for both juniors and adults alike.

Sunday 28th! Firsts

With two more Autumn Series races and race number three in the Autumn Personal Handicap Series, Sunday was a day of firsts. Sara Bell, hitting the racetrack for the first time in the Miracle Elmo - there is no mistaking this  bright pink dinghy! Miracle Championships

The eagerly awaited weekend for Shotwick Miracle sailors and visiting crews had arrived, from Shustoke SC, Delph SC and Colemere SC. However, the weather on Saturday was not so welcoming. Regatta final results

On Sunday 21st September the final three races of the regatta series were held. This brings to a close the 16 races regatta (7 to count), with some lively racing alongside day 2 of the Miracle Welsh Regional Championships. This certainly kept the race officer team busy as they juggled the management of the two fleets. 5 stars for Ron and Dot

Anyone Visiting Shotwick Lake Sailing Club will not fail to be wowed by the many cakes Dot produces! Her Victoria Sponge is absolutely fantastic! But their work in maintaining galley standards has been recognised by the award of a well-deserved five star hygiene rating.
