Dinghy Cruising Adventures If you are interested in using your dinghy for other than racing why not an adventure with sandwiches and ginger beer? Would you be interested in how to start, what you might need to know, what to practice and where to go? We are holding a session to discuss the options, come along to the club on Monday 11 May 2015 19.00.           The weather was great for our work party and although Tim turned up sporting shorts and lily white legs, the cool northerly breeze meant that he put them away pretty quickly!  Thanks to the members who turned up for the workparty (named below). Spring Work Party Sat 18th Apr

It’s that time again when we need to spend some time repairing, cleaning and tidying.  We are holding a work party on Sat 18th.  Please spare a little time to support the club and help keep costs down.  The plan is to start around 9:30am, hopefully if  get enough people to attend it shouldn’t go on to long!

Coming Soon- Laying Up Supper and presentation evening 23rd November 2013 Its that time of year to dust of your dancing shoes and hit the dance floor.  This year’s end of year celebration has a distinctly celtic flavour with a ceilidh band providing the music and entertainment.  No previous dancing skills required as training given on the night.  Put the date in your diary and be one of the 1st to get your ticket when they go on sale.

  Activity at the lake contiues to be high as the last of our windsurfing and level one and two courses came to an end this weekend.  The students were of a high calibre and passed with flying colours.  Tim couldn’t resist having a go to show how it should be done.

Zed makes World Championship

Shotwick member Zed travelled to Poland to the Windsurfing World Championships in August of this year and came in with a final placing of 25th out of a fleet of 93.

The sun was shining and the wind blew and our fun day was great.  Everyone became very competetive again once they hit the water, but most of all, everyone had a great time. On your Marks, Get set, Go!   Which way round does this boat go?  Change over Carnage! A Sprint up the beach for John Dave trying to keep his feet dry Girl power Hawaii 5 Oh! Well done Everyone!
