Croeso and welcome to Shotwick Lake Sailing

Shotwick Lake is situated on the Welsh, English border on the edge of the Dee estuary. We have members from North Wales, The Wirral, Chester and North West England. 

A family club we pride ourselves on our community and are an affiliated RYA Training Centre running sailing and windsurfing courses for both juniors and adults alike.

Frostbite 25 is go!

The results from last Sundays first Frostbite races contained some new names, as 7 sailors from Bala have decided to pop over to Shotwick for the series. Conditions were superb if a little lively, although a couple of members commented on how cold the water was after they went swimming! Frostbite invite

The Shotwick Lake Sailing Frostbite series starts on Sunday 2nd November with two races - the first kicks off at 1100h. You dont need to be a regular Shotwick member to take part. Work party update

There are no further Saturday work parties in 2025. All of the marks will be lifted after the last race (Sunday 14th December). Help appreciated. Poop!!!

Shotwick Lake is a great place for members to walk their dogs. But recently there has been a marked increase in the amount of dog waste not been picked up around the circular lakeside walk, club house and the boat berth areas.
